The Besa group considers it important to support sporting activities of all kinds, including in Rhede.

The Besa group sports park in Rhede is named after its sponsor, the Besa Group, and is home to the Rhede athletics base, VfL Rhede as well as being a regional centre for athletics in North Rhine-Westphalia.

The Besa Group-sports park Rhede includes a stadium which can accommodate 7500 people, canopied seating for 2500 spectators, expansive floodlit sporting fields, a clay court, numerous training and tennis courts and a large athletics hall.

The national athletics programme “Talent search / Talent promotion” is put on at the Besa Group-sports park Rhede.
